June Update:
We have a new/old addition to our family.  Kai, or Blue Magic Kazon, has joined our family. This is Pamela's new buddy!  Out of RH Magic Vision, Kai is now home for Pamela to enjoy. Kai is very happy here and doing well in becoming an excellent riding horse.

2007 is a year that will be rewarding and one of many challenges here at Copper View Farm.
In January Kaseyn was awarded the ranking of 5th in the United States for highest inspection scores of mature stallions for the American Warmblood Society. This ranking has provided opportunities that allow us to show Kaseyn’s Arabian Sporthorse potential to its fullest possible level. Kaseyn will be in the American Warmblood Society breed demonstration at both the Midwest Horse Fair and Minnesota Horse Expo in April of this year.

March we have our first foal coming out of Choc’s Boston Sky our cremello registered foundation Quarter horse. This foal will be for sale with the understanding that inspection coming in September for American Warmblood Society as part of the purchase price. The foal will be registered in multiple registries: AWS, Quararab, Half Arabian, and Palomino registries.   The foal will be shown in both open, WDTCA, USDF, and Arabian shows this summer. March 3rd  is the Timber Trail Riding Club stallion auction and tack swap. Kaseyn’s breeding fee is half price silent auction that is all contributed to the not for profit club. The foal is then able to enter a foal futurity in September 2008.

April will be bringing our second foal out of our purebred Arabian mare AR Special Miss. This foal will also be up for sale with inspection in September as part of the purchase price.  This foal will be registered in both AWS and Arabian registries. The foal will be shown in both open, WDTCA, USDF, and Arabian shows this summer.
April will also bring us to a heavy promotional time with Kaseyn at both the MWHF and MHE. Kaseyn will be conditioned either at home and under saddle or weather not permitting at Spirit Dance Ranch in Coleman, WI with Cheryl Dikkers.

May will be a preparation time for the coming show season. Copper View Farm will be concentrating on Choc’s Sensation and Kaseyn along with raising our foals properly.

June brings us to the heavy show season and Sporthorse in-hand WDTCA show time. We will be hoping to have Kaseyn started in first level  Dressage.

July brings our last foal due out of Raja a purebred Arabian Mare. This foal no matter the sex is going to be retained by its owners for a future mount. We are excited to see this CMK foal. The foal will also be inspected on September 15th as Sport Horse potential.

August is my favorite time of year with the fairs upon us. We will be visiting the Houghton county fair and the Upper Michigan State Fair.

September 15th will be AWS inspections of all foals produced by Kaseyn and Kaseyn himself.

February my daughter blessed us with our first granddaughter Tara Rose.  Tara was born on February 20th at 9:40 am.  Tara is blessing that will being much joy and pleasure. My daughters are a gift to me as both a mother and avid cowgirl.
